We woke at Julie and Ian's place to a cold and rainy morning. We said our goodbyes and we instantly hit Ballarat's peak hour traffic, which we hadn't experienced for the last five months. It was only small compared to what we were about to experience in Melbourne. As we travelled closer to Melbourne the traffic began to get more dense, feeling a bit flustered we made our way to West Heildeberg to catch up with Tony and grab a couple of bags of wood off him.
We arrived at home around lunchtime and pulled into the driveway to start cleaning up the bus but to our surprise and delight a red car came flashing down the driveway, low and behold it was Jackie, she knew we were coming home, so took off from work early to see us.
After having a catch up we were about to leave and set up down the beach when another visitor finally arrived to greet us, Jack (15yo Staffy)..... and boy was he looking old but was happy to see us.
We then went down to the foreshore and set up our home for the next seven weeks.
Our day finished with a lovely dinner at Rye Pizza with Jackie..... while we were there Tara walked in and again it was so great to see her after the five months away, even though we had FaceTime from time to time on our trip.
We hope you have all enjoyed our wonderful trip with us and our blog........

cuppa Thanks for sharing guys. I’ll look forward to your next trip.
Mel Glad to have you back! Shame we aren't camp neighbors again, but we are far to old for that noisy end of town... Much quieter here! Xo
