We woke up for a leisurely morning in Kings Canyon Resort. We ended up leaving at 8.30 for our big trek to the Canyon, 6 kms up and over rocks. What can you say about something that is so amazing. The old hearts were pumping out of our skins but it was well and truly worth the effort and aching knees. The views were just spectacular and between the four of us we filled the camera. Yulara, Early start after a beautiful night of listening to the harmonics of a set of diesel generators at synchronous speed, any shift worker would have slept like a baby. Not much to report on today, lot of driving with a few stops for a tea breaks and happy snaps. We started at Coober Pedy at 07:30 am and ended at Yulara 4:30 pm, found a campsite and then a couple of beers in front of a rock.(check the pics)
