Crew Frivolous
We woke up for a leisurely morning in Kings Canyon Resort. We ended up leaving at 8.30 for our big trek to the Canyon, 6 kms up and over rocks. What can you say about something that is so amazing. The old hearts were pumping out of our skins but it was well and truly worth the effort and aching knees. The views were just spectacular and between the four of us we filled the camera.
After the walk we hit the road for the Mereenie pass over the MacDonald Ranges. Such a pretty drive, we spent time looking for wild horses, donkeys and camels. Not much luck on the camels. We stopped at the Morris pass for impressive views. Then off to Gosse Bluff for lunch. We took more beautiful pictures of the MacDonald Ranges. After driving in and out of places we finally settled into the Glen Helen Homestead for the night. After a long drive Ha Ha, we needed a rest. 260 kms for the day.
