Friendliest caravan park as yet, pulled on popped up, stocked up and washed up! Feeling all refreshed and relaxed spent the afternoon soaking up the sun by the pool. Then enjoyed afternoon tea on the deck supplied by the lovely owners. Fresh jam, cream, light and crisp wood fired scones (a first for me). Babinda great free camp in this quaint little town. Girls had just as much fun here with the little playground and nightly spotlight with the other camping children. The local bakery came in the afternoon to drop off left over cream buns! And the fruit nveg man came round each night with fresh produce to buy! A bit of luxury here for us all. Great entertainment for the whole family. The girls loved the park, jumping pillows and pools, which I actually quite loved too, lazing by with my book. Ken Follet is my author of choice at the moment ! We loved outdoor family movies each night with bats flying overhead. Kev beat us all at mini golf. Day trip to the Great Barrier Reef.... Tick ! The Quicksilver outer reef experience from Port Douglas. Massive big butt took us out to there platform for a day of snorkelling, observation deck and semi submersible which was fantastic. Lovely lunch on board we all pigged out! Great weather, great day. Makes me realise how incredibly lucky we are in W.A to have the ningaloo reef so accessible and just as amazing.
