The glacier walk the other day was a very unigue experience and made that much better by us all having ice pic's! The walk wasn't as demanding as we thought it would be though and why they recommend you have to be fit to do it we don't know. I hope the pictures I put up do the views justice. We have now just arrived in the adrenalin capital of the world, Queenstown! The city is really scenic, surrounded by mountains, a lake and lots of forest. On the way into Queenstown we stopped at puzzleworld which was a good laugh but very strange. However, me and the rest of the lads were greatful for something to take our mind of what we were about to do, a BUNGY (sorry mum and nan)! Aahahahahaha! It was one of the main things I wanted to do in New Zealand and was a mixture of cacking it and excitement just thinking about it. The jump was going to be done at the first commercial site with AJ Hackett (the god of bungy) and was to be 43m over a river. The eight of us Me, Ryan, Colin, Liam, Mike, Jimbo, Christian and Peter all drew lots on the bus to see what order we would go in. I came out 2nd which I was well chuffed about as I didn't want to hang around. The whole experience was amazing as everyone from both buses was watching us jump from the side. When we all made our way to the bridge everyone went silent and we were all suited up. I got out onto the platform and everyone watching was just shouting my name and screaming, which really helped. I don't know how I did it but I made my way to the edge and just went, experiencing a sensation that cannot be out into words. I also got dunked in the river for good measure. Once I was in the boat and back up the steps adrenalin was pumping through my whole body and I was on top of the world (this all probably sounds really cheesy!). Watching all the other boys jump from the side was amazing and it was good to share the experience with them. They were all surprised at how quickly I jumped and everyone just felt that they had to follow suit so not one person stuttered at all. After we were all jumping all over the place and no one could contain themselves. In the space of 3 seconds you go from being petrified to the biggest high in the world. It is easily the best thing I have done in New Zealand, out of this world!
