Hello from Sydney! Me and Steve have been here for the last 4 days and it had been a great laugh. On the first night we went down into the harbour and saw the Opera House and bridge at night, it was stunning. The next day we then actually climbed the bridge! Some of it was a little nerve racking but the views from the highest point were out of this world. Are climb guide was Anne and she was a great laugh, as me and Steve were the tallest she put as right at the back of the group so she could still see if she had everyone. She also said we would stay out of trouble back there! It was muc better though as I had no one behind me blocking the views. After the Bridge walk we walked round the botanic gardens, another place we you get great views of both the bridge and opera house. In the evening we went to the Aquarium and saw some pretty scary sharks, we also saw Nemo. On Friday we went to the Blue Mountains and saw them in there full glory. It was pretty impressive and the range was so vast. We stupidly walked down the Giants steps right to the bottom of the mountains and then climbed all the way back up, a hour walk without any water, nice! To finish the walk we went to the skyline area and went on the steepest railway track in the world, almost vertical. To finish the day off we had a meal and a few drinks in Darling harbour looking out over the water. Yesterday (Saturday) we went over to Manly on the ferry to check out the beaches and trendt town. I also met up with Ryan, a lad I met in New Zealand who was working over there and he showed us the sites. In the evening we were joined by more people I had met in NZ and we had a good nigh out. Today I have just got back from the famous Bondi beach, which is a vicious mix of surfers, skaters and minted people. We spent the day doing a coastal walk and taking in the sites in the promenade. Tonight is our last night in Sydney as tomorrow we both fly to Fiji where we will meet up with Charlotte and Dave, friends from back home. It should be a good week of topping up the tan and a great way to finish 3 months of travelling. I don't know what the internet access is like over there so this could be my last blog entry. So if you don't hear from me I really look forward to seeing everyone in just over a week when I return to England on 14th June. I will bore you all with more photos and stories over a few drinks then no doubt. See you all soon!
