Left the hostel early in the morningtoday and headed towards Rotorua. Our first stop was at Karangahake Scenic Reserve where we walked over various bridges and through a few caves. As usual the scenery was stunning and I just hope my pictures show the place in its best light. Early in the afternoon we were meant to be going Zorbing but it looked quite boring s no one bothered in the end. We then made our way to the Godola and Luge site for some racing! Everyone had 3 goes and it was a right laugh. There were almost a few casualties as most of the lads were trying to out do one another. After we made our way to the hostel were some of us had a dip in the poo (its not a bad life). In the evening the whole group made its way out for an evening of Moari culture. We were driven to a village where we were performed various rituals before we were could be let in. We then walked round the village where we were educated on Moari culture e.g. how they cook there food, play music etc. Afterwards the Moari people performed varius dances for us, finishing with the Haka, which was just amazng. If you look at the photos you will see some of them are big boys! To end the evening we were all treated to a feast of food that had been cooked in the traditional Moari way, uder the ground. The food ws quality and to make it even better it ws all you could eat! Overall it was a great evening.
