Rome, Italy. 12th September 2011

This morning I waited for Peter and Ben to return from Croatia. To kill the time I relaxed and watched more episodes of "Spartacus". I had said goodbye to Emanuele as he had left for work and Mondo had gone to a friends.

Peter and Ben arrived at 11.30am and it was time to say goodbye to Orazio before returning the hire car. Unfortunately the hire car place did no reopen until 2.00pm and so we had 1 1/2 hours to kill so the three of us went to have lunch at a bar near by.

After returning the car Peter, Ben and I caught the subway into the central railway terminus where Ben helped us buy our tickets using auto ticketing machine. It was time to say goodbye to Ben before catching our 3.15pm train to Rome.

On arrival to Rome we checked into our hotel "Hotel Windrose" and popped out for dinner at a local restaurant run by Egyptians. The food was quite good, but we also noticed the the majority of patrons were tourists.

Finally returned to our hotel and after a little hand washing it was time to hit the hay!

All roads lead to Rome! Looking forward to a day out in Rome tomorrow, Ciao xo
