ST Tecla, Sicily Italy. 11th August 2011
Breakfast began with a granita and briosche, this time joining my cousins Giovanna and Rosario, followed by some shopping and buying two beautiful shirts, one which was gifted to me by Giovanna.
It was time to head off to the "Palace Hotel" to enjoy some time by the pool and deepen that tan of mine.
Returning home for a late lunch and I followed this by taking out the tools of the trade and gave my cousin Ottavio a trendy haircut.
In the afternoon Pina and Saro took me to the "Portale Alle Zagare" for some afternoon shopping. If you are wanting a pair of Italian Sunglasses, then Italy is the place to buy them. I bought them in "Angelucci" apparently he has shops all over Italy. I will enjoy wearing my Georgio Armani sunglasses. I also bought some t/shirts and shorts. There are many sales this time of the year so a little shopping therapy goes a long way. Thank goodness for the travel card.
In the evening I was dropped off at my cousin Nello's house and I joined his wife Marissa, Federica and Vera for a meal in Corso umberto. We had Arrancini, which were delicious.
After dinner Nello and his family took me to a villa which was having a party. During the night we were entertained by a group of Line Dancers, I recognised two of the line dancers and actually joined in. It was a fun night jumping and dancing around with my cousins. I think it was 4.00am in the morning before retiring to the bed.
