Pienze/San Quirico d'Orcia/Bagno Vignoni, 31st August 2011. After a delicious breakfast and let me tell you the breakfasts so far have been excellent. The happy walkers all commenced the walk by 8.15am. Leaving the walls of Pienza our walk took us through the typical 'picture purfect postcard Landscapeof Tuscany. Crested with Cypress trees and stone farm houses. We enter San Quirico d'Orcia for some relief from the heat of the day and enjoy an icy cold drink and lunch. Wel spend a little time exploring this town before the only remaining 9 continued their walk to Bagno Vignoni. Dawn and Peter were shuttled to the next accommodation. Reaching Bagno Vinoni, we settled into our rooms before stripping off and headed for the hot thermal spring spa. Peter, Aunty Mary, Netty, Venny, Katrina and I enjoyed a spuntino with a glass of red wine and some of us lucky ones, enjoyed a massage before catching up for dinner at the local restaurant. buon appetito
