Well, we crossed the Arctic Circle earlier today and we now have four days of perpetual daylight ahead of us. We are sailing along between the Lofoten Islands and the Norwegian coast on a fairly calm sea on a bright but cold day. The weather for tomorrow is a bit changeable, but, we heard that there was snow at the North Cape a couple of days ago and that there was quite a big snowball fight on one of the cruise ships! We are hoping for the same sort of weather! Keeping ourselves entertained today with mulled wine and very much looking forward to our next port of call at the top of Norway.
And, in addition...We were still awake at Midnight again, having listened to a very talented young singer called Racjelle Kruger. I happened to look out the window at the front of the ship and immediately rushed off to the top deck to take some more photos. The suin was still wel up in the sky and shining on the mountains we were passing. Amazing opportunity and we photographers took full advantage, catching some amazing shots. It's difficult to get used to the fact that there is no night!
Next entry will be after our visit to the North Cape later today.
