We headed to the Sunshine Coast to see my relatives again and also my Mum was coming over to visit which was nice. We visited a few places up in the hills…..Montville, Maleny, Nambour (Big Pineapple). Had a nice relaxing time there with my rellies!!

When we got back from the cruise we spent a few days in the Gold Coast and a mate came over from Perth to visit us there. We rented a really nice apartment on the 26th floor overlooking the beach and river; great spot! April 9th We set off from the Sunshine Coast via the Glass House Mountains to a rest stop in Ormeau which was 40 mins from Gold Coast Airport.

5th - 8th April Had a nice relaxing week with my relatives and stayed indoors for the majority as it was still very hit and miss with the weather. When the sun finally came out we hiked up Mount Coolum (that was right next door to where we were staying) and got a great view over Coolum Beach area.

April 4th The next day, after looking for ages on the Google Maps for somewhere to camp and finding that all national park where closed, we called a relative who lives in the Sunshine Coast and asked if we could seek refuge there for a while. Finally we had a destination!! To the Sunshine Coast!! We would be staying for the week before driving back down to the Gold Coast Airport.
