Fraser Island was nice….the highlight for us was probably the varying vegetation on the Island. One minute you are near the beach with small shrubs around and then you drive into the island a little bit and next minute you are surrounded by thick rainforest and towering trees.

We did our first bit of fishing there….just for bate fish but, it was still fun.

We saw a couple of dingoes walking along the beach as we were driving along….that was pretty cool. Apparently they have quite a lot of trouble with the dingoes being aggressive towards humans so we just took a picturgraph from the car and kept on driving.

The weather was a bit hit and miss which limited our time there. We were going to stay for over a week but we pulled the pin on day 5 because we were literally driving into a storm so we thought 'naaaaahhhh, lets bail'. It was a wall of storm at the top of the Island (where we were heading) and blue-ish skies behind us….so we turned around.

But before we left for good we thought we'd go and see with the skydiving people if there was a chance we could hurl ourselves out of a perfectly good aeroplane over Fraser Island. They said "yeh, if you wanna go right now?!"….soooo next thing we knew we were 14,000ft in the air and about to jump head first towards the Island.

It was heaps of fun!....I've done it before but, Kuba hadn't….luckily he enjoyed himself. Now we are planning where to go skydiving next.
