Canarvon Gorge is a really awesome National Park with heaps to see. We went to an introductory talk that the park gives each day about flora, fauna and things to see and do. We discovered, during this talk, about a plant we'd seen growing everywhere on the drive there….we'd never seen it before and there were paddocks and paddocks of it….anyway, it turned out to be Lucena and is cattle feed during summer months (well we thought it was interesting).
We decided that we would do a hike through the gorge the following day…just a little hike…7hrs!! haha it was well worth it though…we were able to see aboriginal art, canyons, a natural 'amphitheatre' and heaps more.
As you can imagine, we were sore for the next few days!! Well worth the pain though!
