Well we have finally come to our last day in Buenos Aires. It's hard to believe that we've been here for over 2 weeks and we've been away for a month now! Where has the time gone?!! So here's a quick run down over the last few days..... Having lost my camera I decided to look into buying one here. Unfortunately I seem to be in the one country that sells them for DOUBLE what we pay at home - good news all round! So I gave up on that idea. Thankfully we have Tash's! There were still a few sights around town that we hadn't managed to see up until now, including the ecological reserve and the Teatro Colon (one of the oldest and m ost famous theatres in Buenos Aires) so we took a tour around the theatre and walked around the reserve. The reserve was a little disappointing and I'm not quite sure what I was expecting. We also went to a Jazz club called Notorious - the venue was excellent and so was the jazz. The woman accompanying the pianist had the most amazing voice! Very smooth...and jazz like I suppose! Today we have just mooched around the hostel getting ourselves ready. Really not looking to putting the beast of a rucksack back on! It weighs a tonne! Its going to be sad leaving here as we've met some really nice people and I love the city. Peru is going to be a masive culture shock but I think we are ready for it!! Righty-hoo! I'll be speaking to you all next from Peru! Until then take care x x
