It's been awhile since I last posted, so I thought it would be about time to put another update on my life abroad into the virtual atmosphere.
Easter came and went here, a little too fast for my liking... but the long weekend was much appreciated! At first, I was really sad that I was missing out on the Family Easter back home with everyone coming over, and me not being included. I wish I could've been there to see my brother and my grandparents.
My Easter weekend really turned around though on Sunday when a bunch of the international students got together for an Easter celebration. A Canadian girl named Krista organised an Easter egg hunt and a crepe supper for a big group of us. I had such a great time and it really got my mind off of missing the family.
But unfortunately the weekend was soon over and it was back reality. Back to school and finishing up courses. I've pretty well finished all my big assignments for the semester and my exams will be starting next week... Eeeek!! I was feeling very discouraged about not succeeding in school here because on my first econ assignment that I handed in, I received the traumatizing grade of 5/20. Yes... that's 25%.
Since then I have actually passed all my assignments! Things are looking up!
So yes, school is going well. But it can be so hard to concentrate on school when I'm just starting to form solid relationships with new friends and I still want to travel so much. I have some upcoming travel plans that I'm very excited about. This weekend I'm going to Nimes and Marseille with a special someone that I met over here, and the following weekend marks the start of our spring break, which I will be spending in Paris and London!!
So there will be some exciting blogs in the next coming weeks!
That's all for now!
