On Saturday, I went out to dinner with two american girls that I had met from my residence. We went down the mountain to a little Italian restaurant. (The great thing, is that every resturant here is a "little hole in the wall" restaurant.) We had some white wine, and pasta. I had a three chesse penne, which I was really excited for, but it ended up being a bit bland. But, it was still nice to get out.

There are so many little restaurants and shops in the little town, and the downtown is so vibrant, it is hard to remember that there is a whole other side of town (closer to campus) with lots of big box stores. There is one called "Casino Geant", which is basically a huge walmart, it's great one-stop-shopping. That's where I've been going because of the diversity of things I have been needing to buy at once, but I hope to be able to discover the downtown shops too.

After dinner, we climbed back up the mountain, which albeit, was hard to do on a very full stomach, it was made better by the company.

Sunday was a rainy and gloomy day, and seeing as Grenoble is a traditional little town, everything is closed on Sundays. So I had a me-day, and looked over my course selection and watched a couple movies.
