So as I mentioned before the admintration at my university is very beaureaucratic. Nobody works past their office hours, nobody does anything that's outside of their job description, and one can never work though lunch (which is usually 11h00-14h00). So after many attempted (and failed) visits to my secretariat, I am finally officially registered in my courses! That's me with my student card ------>
The courses I'm taking are all in french, and they are as follows:
- International Economics
- Growth and economic cycles
- French Grammar
- Analysis of French litterature
- History of Grenoble
- French as a second language
The history course is bit of a field course where we will be going to museums around the city to learn the history of the area.
Aside from scholastics, I have learned other valuable lessons
1. One must never leave the house without an umbrella (the skies can open at any minute)
2. Never expect to get anything accomplished during lunch, or on sundays, or mondays (for anyone that was open on saturday)
3. If you don't hold on to something, you will fall over on the tram
4. Cheese is really good
Well that's all for now!
