My flight from Toronto to London was delayed was delayed about an hour and a half. After all that waiting, they finally started calling the rows from the back of economy , which included me. When I got to the front of the line, they scanned my ticket. The lady said there was a problem, and that the seat was double booked. At this point, I was freaking out, thinking I would have to wait for the next plane. Then she stepped aside and printed a new boarding pass. When I got on the plane, and saw the seat that corresponded to my new seat number I was delighted to find out that I had been upgraded to business class. So I got one of the seats that reclines to bed - with a foot rest and everything. There was a pillow and a blanket, so I was able to sleep really well. They fed me supper and breakfast, so it was a really nice flight. There was a bit of turbulance caused by wind, but the wind actually pushed us so we made it to London on time, even though we left late. It was sad to have to go back to economy class on the airbus from London to Lyon, but it was only an hour long flight. From Lyon, I had to take a bus to the Grenoble train station. By chance, on the same flight as me, there was a girl named Laura that I recognized from an exchnage student meeting at Guelph. She helped me get my bus ticket, and got me to the streetcar. I got off the street car and got a cab to my residence. Journey successfully completed!

Kristine Middlemiss Amazing, this is seriously the way to travel!
Tom What a small world!? What are the chances of seeing someone else going on exchange from Guelph, and furthermore someone that you recognize! But sounds like a good adventure just getting there!!!
