Today started off with a brilliant American style breakfast! I wasn't even close to finishing it before I gave in! As my trousers had shrunk in the wash we had to try and find some new ones for me. So to help us get around we got three hop on hop off bus passes! The bus showed us around part of the city on the way to Union Square. We decided to get off here as its the central part of San Francisco and there are plenty of shops here! After a long time in Macy's with no luck, we went to H+M and found a pair straight away! I was glad to be done with the shopping as that's not what I'm here for, I'm here to spend time enjoying myself with my parents.
After a coffee and small snack for lunch we made our way around the city back on the bus. It's such a great city, it has something for everyone and its people make it an even nicer place to be. We saw loads of attractions on our way round, but the big one was the Golden Gate Bridge. It really is an amazing sight. Crossing it on an open top bus was an experience - the wind was immense! The views were gorgeous and bagged some fantastic photos! The day seamed to go so quick, so once we got back we got ready and walked along the coast to pier 39 for our meal at Hard Rock Cafe.
