The day started with me and Andy taking down the tent. We all got packed up and made our way out of Yosemite. The Taiga Pass offered more gorgeous mountain views. We took loads of random group photos and really made fools of ourselves but it was fun! We then moved on and stopped for food in a spot with a great with a great lake view!
As we didn't stop too much on the way, we arrived in bishop nice an early.
It was so hot! Me and Andy tactfully chose the only shaded area to pitch our tent, although it didn't help too much. Once we were all set up we went to the supermarket to get some beer. We then enjoyed take out pizza and poker back in the campsite.
Just before it got dark we all got in the van and drove up the road to the natural hot springs. It was really fun, we took a few beers and watched the sunset! Once the sun was down we waited for the stars to come out! It was beautiful and the moon was so bright! It's a good job really because none of us thought to bring torches! Finding our towels again would have been hard work otherwise! Got into bed feeling nice and warm but that soon changed as I woke up shivering!
