Today was a free day to explore the Grand Canyon in whatever way you wanted. We had the option of doing a helicopter flight but I turned it down because its very expensive and I've been told if you want to see the canyon at its best get in it. So that's exactly what we did. Today I was sad to be leaving the city of excess! I really enjoyed its crazy 'we can do anything' attitude. The day went super quick as we didn't leave Vegas until late and the van journey went quick. We arrived at our campground in the Grand Canyon around 4pm and went about setting up our tents. Once our tents were up we got in the van and were told to put on blind folds. Getting out of the van was tricky, and walking from the car park to the edge of the canyon...
