Today I had plenty of time to get ready for our trip to Shenandoah national park as I was up way before everyone else. I enjoyed a long shower and loads of breakfast before putting down the tent and getting in the van. Today's plan? Drive!
Me and Andy disturbed the peace by sitting at the front rather than the hotter back which was a welcome change! The journey was a long one, but we had plenty of rest stops which always makes life easier.
We arrived at the campsite early evening and set up camp. Once everything was up and ready we all went to play volleyball! The Germans and Swiss were really good, and Matt our American guide is just competitive at everything! Us Brits were poor in comparison! But we mixed the teams and must have been playing for 2 hours! Once we got bored of that we moved on to 2 on 2 basketball which is definitely more suited to me, and me being small wasn't a major disadvantage in a group where the average hight is 5'6"!
After walking back I showered and had late food before sitting around an incredibly smokey fire and looking for bears!
