We have finally got good weather, its not hot but still nice at about 23-24 degrees. We arrived in Surfers Paradise a few days ago, its a place where there are loads of theme parks and the best nightlife in Queensland. The beach is massive and there are loads of surfers because the waves are pretty good.

We went to Movieworld on Friday which is a bit like MGM studios in America. There are loads of rides and shows like the Wild West and Stunt Car Driver shows. Lou went on most of the rides except for one which she was too scared of.

Yesterday I went fishing on a deep sea charter. It was brilliant, we all caught loads of fish. We were fishing in really deep water (between 40m and 70m) so I am aching all over today from winding in the fish. I caught 3 tuna, a parrotfish and a few others which I don't know what they were. We had a BBQ at the hostel last night and the manager let us have ours for free because I gave them some of the fish. We have kept some for tonight and tomorrow so I hope it doesn't go off in the car.

Off to Brisbane now where we are meeting Dom's cousin Tom. He is off work tomorrow so we are going to get a guided tour round the city hopefully. If not I'm sure he will show us round the pubs.
