We hired a boat on the river in Cairns yesterday with a couple of Germans, a French guy and a Dutch guy. We took a picnic and a load of beers and managed to finish them all off between us. we did a bit of fishing and most of us caught a few. In Cairns now and we have been very busy seeing the sites over the past few days. We went up into the Atherton Tablelands yesterday and saw about half a dozen waterfalls, gorges and volcanic craters.
