Well we did fruit picking we only lasted a week as we weren't getting the hours. We travelled to Albany and stopped off at Pemberton to climb the Gloucester tree, well Cliff did anyway. After 3 days off we have had 2 days at work, if you can call them days. We worked from 7am until 12:30pm yesterday and from 7am until 9:30am today so we aren't even earning enough to pay for our days here. There is no work either tomorrow because it is going to rain and it affects the sugar in the grapes or something technical like that. We had a day at the beach on Friday, it was really quiet with not many people there so it was nice. The sea is so clear so we may take the snorkels down this afternoon and see what we can see. We did our first days work yesterday, picking grapes. It was the hardest days work we have ever done. We got up at 5:30 and worked from 7am until 2pm without a break. It was so hot and the grapes were so tricky to pick. There were some people going round picking the biggest bunches and so the rest of us had to go back over the vines they had done and get all the small bunches off. We were paid by the bucket so it was hard to fill buckets when all the big bunches ...

As you can see we now have a car, its a 3.8 litre Holden Commodore. Its a bit swish for us, we even have air-con! We are going to try to see a bit more of Perth now we have the car, public transport isn't very good here, the buses are not regular at all. Lou wants to go for a picnic at the beach or in a park so we will be doing that in the next couple of days.
