We went rafting on the Tully River yesterday and we both really enjoyed it. We went on rapids up to grade 4 so they were pretty big. We spent about 5 hours on the water and got to swim down a couple of the rapids as well. Lou has got bruises down her legs today from where she hit some rocks on the way down. We have just got back to Townsville after 3 days on Magnetic Island. We stayed in a hostel that was part of a wildlife park so there were loads of animals including possums, crimson rosellas (in the picture), etc wandering around the campsite. We have just spent 3 days on a yacht seeing the Whitsunday Islands. It was fantastic, the weather was hot and the places we went to were beautiful. We went to a few snorkelling spots and saw loads of fish and coral. At the best spot we got to swim with a Giant Wrasse (about 4 feet long), a Giant Trevally and lots of Batfish. We have just come back from 3 days on Fraser Island on a 4WD trip. There were 8 of us in our group and another 9 in the other group so we stuck together for most of it.
