Left Port Smith this morning after a great week. Made our way to Barnhill Station and arrived by lunch time and set up in the non powered area. Views from the the cliff top site are to die for. The beach below is quite stunning. The white sandy beach is lined bya range of cliffs and rocky outcrops. The water is the typical blue/green colour and today was glassy calm making for a picturesque scene.
We walked the main beach of about 2.5km after lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the changing scenery.
After a swim and our walk we showered in the open air ablutions block and spent an hour or two catching up with emails etc now that we have internet for the first time in a week or so.
Drinks and a stunning sunset followed by a delicious meal of Spangled Emperor, finished off a really good day.
