Headed off to London to catch a boat down the Thames to Greenwich. Needed to test our sea legs out for the river cruise in a weeks time. We knew the river was tidal but did not realise how big the difference would be between low and high tide - a lot. Early start as we head off for our first visit to Millenium Stadium to see the rugby game between Ireland and Canada. Three trains on the underground before we got to Paddington Station and the 2.5 hour train trip to Cardiff. Rest day behind us we are off today to see St. Pauls Cathedral and go to a play. Anne had had a short visit to the Cathedral once before but Bruce had not been inside. An amazing unique cathedral. Surprising was the number of tributes to war dead, the leaders and heros and various battles and wars. Often in cathedrals Crypts are not open to the public but not the case here.
