The boat did not go anywhere last night as there are some tours scheduled for Amsterdam. We had already selected a tour which would take us out by bus into the countryside to see some windmills in action, some cheese making and some making of wooden shoes. We met up with the woman who is looking after the apartment for the owner. She lives in the next floor down and we just wanted to meet her and thank her for her help while we had been here. Our final day in Amsterdam before getting on our boat tomorrow afternoon for the river cruise. Back to the same tram as yesterday and off to the Resistance Museum. Instead of walking to the Central Station as we have done on other days we decided to go a different way by tram. It required one change but we negotiated it without too much trouble. Unlike Brussels there is not much signage which has English so it has taken a while to get familiar with some of the local words. Another lovely day - we have been really lucky. After doing some laundry (advantage of being in an apartment) we headed out to use up the remaining hours on our hop-on/hop-off tickets and see that part of the canal which had been closed yesterday.
