We had breakfast and checked out of the hotel at 12.00, we used the computers they have in the reception area for a few hours. This was to catch up with emails and messages we had promised to get out to everyone. Our taxi was coming for us at 5.30pm so we spent the rest of the afternoon swimming and sat by the pool. We had some tea at the hotel restaurant then it was just about time to go. Our taxi got us and took us to the airport, our flight was 8.25pm but when we got to the airport we found it would be delayed until 9.20pm, not so bad, could have been a lot worse! After the flight we found our taxi guy arranged by the next hotel and got driven into Ho Chi Minh City, it was around 11.30pm by now. We were dropped off on a street and the taxi guy pointed down a dark alley saying our hotel was down there. We were a little unsure but we were paying for the taxi at the hotel so there was no reason it would be wrong but being in Vietnam we couldn't be sure. The hotel was where we had been told it would be, we checked in around midnight.
