The flights eventually got booked yesterday so it was now how long did we want to stop places and did we want to visit anywhere else. The morning was spent with our head in the books again and then in the afternoon we went out to explore the place. We walked towards the market that they have here. The market was huge and the vegetables looked amazing, no wonder everything is so fresh tasting here. We thought about going to a place that sold cheap beer by the glass like in Hanoi and working out where to go next. We sat down somewhere had a couple of 20p beers and got talking to an Australian guy. We hadn't really worked out where to go next when we left but we just went for the tactic of we'll find somewhere. There was a beautiful bridge close by which seemed to connect to a road with lots of places to eat. We went over and sat down, the great thing about the Vietnamese people in Hoi An is that they seem to have a sense of humour. Whilst sat at the restaurant James and I were both got on separate occasions by someone touching our top, we look down then they flick our nose. Can't believe we fell for it! They were really funny. After eating here we went for a walk trying to find a new charging cable for my phone as mine has given up, it was getting dark and the bridge looked even better now as there were so many lights on it. We walked up and down the streets, we stopped for another beer as we'd come really far out of the way and thought we'd use the map to work our where we were. Where we had stopped was a little restaurant which was actually someone's house. Through the glass windows at the front you could see their front room, both James and I used the bathroom which was the family bathroom. Washing on the floor, toothbrushes on a shelf etc, it felt so strange. We just stopped for the one drink, but we did find a cable for my phone not long after that. We walked back along the river side and found our road with our hotel on and stopped for one last beer in the place we have enjoyed going for tea the previous two nights, it was extremely busy.
