Today we were off to explore the city centre of Bristol. It was only a short bus ride into town where we firstly walked along a street given over to graffiti murals as Bristol is the home of Banksy the street artist. This morning we were off on the Avon Valley Railway which was only about 25mins from Sue's. It was an hour ride, but it went about 10 mins in one direction, then the engine ran around, then back through the starting station & 10mins the other direction before running around again. We had a couple of hours to explore Cardiff before catching the train to Bristol so we headed towards the castle to have a look around. It was a rainy walk to Avis near Piccadilly station to pick up our hire car this morning. Luckily we managed to get out of Manchester towards north Wales without too much trouble and our first stop was Llangollen to ride the tourist railway here.
