Brenton Kovacs's Travels
Saying goodbye to Alan we a little hard, and for him as well, but he had to get back home and to work.
My flight to Seville arrives at 8pm and i manage to take the bus to the Plaza De Amas, then a short walk to my apartment. Megan is waiting for me and gives me a quick tour, then heads off.
Still suffering from a stomach bug of sorts, i am keen to get some sleep.
My first day begins with a rainy day. What i do like is the temperature, its 16 degrees. I think i have had enough of the freezing weather, and am looking forward to some warmer and hopefully sunny days. A walk down the main shopping streets which takes me past the Cathedral of Seville. It is a huge building and looks amazing.
Plaza De Espana is absolutely incredible. Such a magnificent building, and beautiful gardens.
At last, some warm sunny days. Even if it is only 16, it feels so good. Spent a few days just wandering the endless cobbled stone lanes and alleys of Historic Sevilla. Such a wonderful, calm and easy to walk city. The local people dont seem to be in a rush, whether driving or walking.
Cordoba is a short train ride away, and sound like its worth visiting. Smaller than Seville, it is easy to navigate around and see the sights.
