Brenton Kovacs's Travels
Paris is certainly a beautiful city. Clean, tidy and plenty of open space. We have walked miles to see the sights and to just get lost in the suburbs.
We are staying in a private apartment in the Latin Quarter just near a subway station. The Notre Dame Cathedral is a 5 minute walk. The Eiffel tower was impressive to see at night time.
I am not planning to drive while in Paris as the subway system is easy to use and cheap, 1 euro per ride. The traffic is not that bad, its just the number of traffic lights.
The queue at the Lourve Museum was huge. We will be visiting the museum on the 1st sunday in January, as it is free. Not sure how big the queue will be then.
Paris is a great place to walk. around every corner is something new to see and explore
