Today was a travel day, and according to the bus schedule it was going to be an easy day. Leave Marseille at 11.50am, arrive in Lyon at 4pm. I can then check in to my accommodation at 5pm. Did not work out like that. The bus arrived 1 hour late, then along the route the us stopped to empty the toilet, and another hour lost. So as we were getting close to Lyon i sent an sms to Amelie letting her know i was running late. Well she had to leave Lyon at 5.30pm, so she told me the access code to the apartment. What she forgot to do was tell me where the key was. Anyway it was not till just after 7pm that i was in the apartment. Not the best of days.

I have to say that i really like Lyon. It is such a nice clean city, well laid out and everything is at a very leisurely pace. The people are polite and most seem happy. I enjoyed walking the streets here and taking in a few of the sights.
