So, Midsummer Day was the opening day of Sommarland next door to our campsite and we had free tickets. We had been eagerly awaiting this waterpark since leaving the UK, but Midsummer Day started grey and cold. Nevertheless we headed for the park hoping the rain would pass - only for it to get heavier and heavier until we decided to abort and return to Bob for full waterproofs!

Luckily Sommarland had numerous other activities as well as swimming so we spent the afternoon on rides, boats, laser-shooting, trampolines, climbing walls and cars. We decided to leave the pools for tomorrow, but we were very impressed by the number of (possibly very hungover) people enjoying the waterslides!

As we returned to Bob the sun decided to come out and so we headed to the campsite restaurant for the all-you-can-eat buffet as a real treat to celebrate the end of Midsummer. We have not been able to eat out at all in Scandinavia so a meal-off-cooking for me was a very big deal!
