Midsummer is celebrated in Sweden by raising a maypole and dancing around it. Girls and ladies often make wreaths with flowers they've collected. In the evening girls collect 7 different varieties of flowers to put under their pillow and then they dream their future husband.

We spent the morning on the campsite and then went into town to join the celebrations. I dressed up brightly and put flowers in my hair. Me and mummy walked along the beautiful lake with midsummer all around us. Me and mummy danced around the maypole. Next, we saw the 28metre maypole celebration. I loved it and Sweden has got into my top favourite countries along with Scotland.
