A beautiful day on the beach today and a plan to do work in the morning and chill on the beach this afternoon.... when will we learn that the wind gets up in the afternoon, pretty much every day in Greece so far, it even has its own name..... so after working really hard this morning and a long walk along the beach in the sun to stock up on supplies we were ready to hit the sand just as the wind picked up and we needed to put the jumpers on!

Luckily for all of us there is another family on this deserted campsite worldschooling very similar aged children and so as the children didn't care about the wind they had a great time playing football, flying kites and racing into the sea whilst we were very happy to chat and try and rescue the kites from the trees...unfortunately in our case the trees won - 2 kites down but fun memories made.
