Woke up to a beautiful morning after the thunder and lightning of the day before and life felt good again!! After morning school, we headed to the beautiful beach at Voidokilia Bay. After a drive down a narrow road and a bridge that I worried would cause us problems later (and it did!) we arrived at the beautiful bay.

We were the only people here so we wandered along the beach taking in the stunning scenery (reminded me of Thailand a little). Everything was going well until Daniel who was bashing the sand with sticks got a massive splinter under his skin that made him hysterical so we quickly took him back to Bob to take it out.

2 hours later (after BBQ lunch) we were walking along the beach again (Groundhog Day) and all was going well until Megan discovered the beach was crawling with sleepy bees in the sand. This time she became hysterical so again headed back to Bob. Though at least on the way back this time we managed to collect another 170 pieces of plastic to help clean the beach.

We then tried to leave the beach but caught the underneath of Bob on the awkward bridge damaging the metal underneath. Hopefully, we can fix once back in the UK….

Finished off the day with a lovely meal on the harbour for an early birthday meal for Tracy…..
