Arrived in Portland and headed straight to the Pearl District, which is a very cool area of converted warehouses, to sample the bars and resturants. Got into the first bar at about 6 and didnt leave until 1. Worlds laziest Bar Crawl!!! We spent the night talking to a few of the locals and drinking cheap as we got happy hour prices all night for being English. Bobby also ordered a cocktail without reading what was in it...Jabenero Vodka (vodka that has had Jabenero chillies soaking in it for three days), he did not finish it!!!

The next morning Bobby took a walk around downtown. Sam stayed in bed nursing a hangover watching Shark Week on TV. Bobby made the most of his free time by eating meat from the Polish van and queing an hour for some Voodoo donuts which are very strange but a tradition in Portland.

Portland is known for its variety of food from all over the world which are served out of vans all over the city. It sounds horrible but the food is amazing. While we were there we sampled Polish, Korean, Japanese, Lebanese and German!!!!!

Even though Portland dosent have any well know landmarks the city is very cool and was one of the best cities we have visited, plus everything was tax free!
