The final day of the Classic Malts Rally ends with a ceilidh at the Lagavulin Distillery, which we had visited the previous day. Another excellent event, with whisky flowing like water, limitless supplies of fresh oysters, and the band and dancers in full swing. The moon rise beautifully over the bay, where the lead boat of the rally, Spray of Wight, was at anchor. We returned to Port Ellen by coach, replete with food and drink, and slept soundly in anticipation of an early rise to catch the tide for Oban the following day.
