2 weeks now since Cath had her surgery for breast cancer and first follow-up, and it was nice to have Leigh, Ale and Mel around us for a sunny family lunch on our patio. End of adventures (other than medical ones) for some months now, but the Blog will be back in 2008!!!

Benj and Cath are are pleased to say that we are at last on our way to sail round Britain (or most of it) aboard
our boat Vega this summer. NB: start by clicking "View full map" to see the whole trip, and be aware that you may have to switch from Ireland to the UK (country list) as the site regards them as different (rightly, I guess!). And to get back to the map, click the Home tab.Oh, and do please leave messages! B&C

We haven't posted a message for a while as Zed is having major problems with her back, so we have been up and down to Bristol for the last few weeks. Things are looking a bit more positive now. Great to see how well your adventure is going. Good luck and God Speed

Hello Benj from sunny Bermuda!! I thought I was out here on holiday but my godson has had me antifouling his sabre 34 boat. Anthony, Gary Sophie and I are having fun lots of fun boating around the island. Went to see the new harry potter film on Tuesday night (very good) The flight out here was awful. We travelled with zoom airlines . The flight sholud be abot 6 hours but we had to divert to Canada and it ended up taking 10.5 hours to get here!! Another week's holiday to go. The kids are enjoying every minute. Adele and Naddy are still up in hospital. Been up there for a week now. Hope the malt cruise went OK i'm sure it did. Take care and be in touch when we return to the UK. OH yes nearly forgot At the airport I picked up a sailing magazine and there you were in one of the articles!!! couldn't believe it.
Love from Bob, Sophie, Gary, and Anthony xx

So pleased you had such a great few days for the sail past and sailing round Kerrera. The sort of sailing I enjoy too. David and Shelly don't know how lucky they were with the weather, Nick of course does. Love it when things go right. Have fun my love x
Cath
Feels very very strange to be home alone, well alone with Grace for the first couple of days-she gave me a terrific welcome home.
With love, Cath x

Hi Bej & Cathy, hope you received my text on your birthday Benj, if you did'nt I hope you had a great day.
Everything is Ok at the house, went down with Mike and Mel today to clear up some more water. Borrowed some rods from next door and unblocked the drain next to the garage which seemed to have been the problem.
Safe passage, speak soon

Great to read and see yuor travels to date. We were disconnected from our Broadband by some rogue BT employee and have been off line for the whole of May - only just reconnected so have just discovered your site. Hope the sailing is as smooth as the Guinness!
All our love and we will follow your adventures with a distinct sense of longing.

Glad you enjoyed Blarney its a very good castle, and a good day out. You can probably hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth from there, every time you mention Guiness, Jamesons or oysters,
