Today was the day we took our flight out of Auckland and finally after 5 incredible months we will be retruning home.

We got up as usualy, had a coffee and some breakfast, checked our bags one last time and headed off to the airport. Here we had a coffee with Lou and Lenny for the final time (until they come see us in the UK) while we waited for our flight. When the time came to get on board we said a very sad goodbye and began the preflight process once again!

To cut a very, very long story short our flight consisted of 2 stops, lots of food and drink, many a film, plenty of attempts at what can only be described as 'sleep' and 28.5 Hours later we landed. Back in the UK, back HOME.

With a warm welcome and pathetic sign from our friends we jumped in their can and spent the next 3 hours driving home, this felt very strange!

Over the next few days we managed to have 3 late nights catching up with friends and family, adjusting to being at home and finally packing our bags once more for our annual family holiday to Turkey...

Now i feel the best way to end a 5 month trip is with a 2 week holiday..!

This whole expierience, the friends weve made, the people weve seen, the lives weve lived and the palces we expierience will stay with me forever and has truely changed my view of the world and my outlook on life!

This may be the end of this trip but our journey around the world still continues....
