Last Day - Jet boat - Meal out

Today was the last day of our amazing adventure, we decided to do something pretty fitting to finish off what has been a true adventure... Jet Boating. After a qucik online booking and a final trip out in the car we headed down to Auckland Harbour for our jet boat ride.

As we parked up, grabbed some food and headed to the harbour (now wondering weather the maccy D's was a good idea), as we approached the water there sat among the gentle waves we saw the red gleaming boat!! Hana now a little more nervous than before and me like an excited kid we checked in, read the safety brief and signed our lives away! After a little sit everyone was there and we grabbed our fetching overalls and life jackets, took a sneaky snap and jumped in the boat. With two giant engines and a fibreglass hull, this thing sounded and looked fast. One more photo with us all in the boat and we purred out of the harbour and into open water. This is where the fun began as the driver hit the excelator and bouced us along the waves. With about 20 minutes of bouncing, sharp turns and hard breaking, we were done. We then headed back with a rather cold hana, this was amazing and although we couldnt do it through the canyon as planned, this was an amazing taster and great end to what has been a life changing expierence.

We then headed back home to get ourselves warm again and to get changed as Lou and Lenny have said they want to take us out for a meal.

Tommorow will be a hard day as it will be our last in our new home of Auckland, however with a long flight to keep us throughly bored and the treat that is getting to see our friends and family again, we are a huge mix of emotions!
