We sleep all morning:):) except for being briefly awoken by Lara, who brought us coke and nuggets, yay! Feeling a little bit worse for wear, we slip around the house when we wake up, trolling the web for funny clips, chatting, and listening to the cricket. We finally decide to venture out, just after one, and boy is it hot!! We get a cab to the Spanish steps, and become typical tourists for the next half hour, posing and taking photos. The area is very swish, and we get some ice cold lemonata granita, before heading off again! We are going to a cool monk chapel completely made out of bones, should be cool! We start the walk over, and find the square easily enough, but then, devastation! We aren't wearing church dress so can't enter:( we didn't think it would actually apply to this novelty so didn't think to dress completely covered..sad! Not sure what to do, we cross the road for same late lunch. A funny little window building in the middle of the road, with completely white decode is where we end up! Mainly due to the blaring aircon as we walk past haha! Craving some red meat, I order a steak with mushrooms, really good, Troy has lobster pasta, Lara a Caesar salad, and Alyce has a lasagna. Bit expensive but really nice, slightly annoying that we got charge for the bread on the table, which we didn't even touch, but oh well! We see a cab rank as we walk out and clamber into a cab, that is until the cab driver stay we are staying only 5mins away and to get out haha, oops. A hot walk later and we make it back to our lovely appartment:) we pass the rest of the afternoon being lazy while Alyse goes out shopping. Me and Troy start to look at reservation costs for the train to London tomorrow and start to get very scared about prices, would have been like $900 Australian, I don't think so sir! Flights are the same...start to get worried about what we should do, will we ever be able to get back to the UK?! As I already owe Troy money that we have already spent, I think we need to huddle and come up with a new plan! It's too late to go to the station so we will go first thing in the morning and figure out our options! Alyse walks in the door and we deside to get take away for dinner again, this time Chinese! I google the best one near us again, and we head off through our lovely neighborhood. Only 5ish mins away this time, we order another cheap feast of spring rolls, fried rice, beef and peppers, chicken noodles, chicken cashew, prawn toast, and sweet and sour pork. We trundle home and dig in! All rice, but could have had a bit more sauce on a few dishes. Best sweet and sour pork ever though! Not feeling like staying up, we all go to bed as we've got big travel days tomorrow!
