The black out curtains in Nice turned out to be a god send, slept until 11am completely uninterrupted! Feeling fresh and revitalized, me and Troy heading out for our free morning to explore the pretty, beachside town. We settled down in a nice looking Italian restaurant and had the best meal thus far! A shared plate of antipasto, a seafood plate for my self and a pizza for Troy, saw us very full indeed! I pottered back to the hotel to read my book and relax, while Troy ventured out to find a bar to watch the cricket:S haha. We then got ready for our night out in Monaco! All dressed up (Troy even wearing his Bowie) we got on the coach and marveled at the scenery en route! The windy roads up the mountains overlook the most breathtakingly beautiful, Mediterranean coves. We then pass the board and we see the wealthy, if tiny little county (city?)! Only 2.5km across the whole expanse of the nation, it oozes money! I think the only reason they can boast 0% unemployment is be because you can't afford to not work here! The building, harbor with billion dollar boasts are such a sight! We take photos outside the palace before having a nice dinner of pàte, salmon and ice cream. Getting really excited now, we jump back on the coach to be dropped off at the Montecarlo casino:) the building is beautiful, as are the people, cars and whole experience of being there!! We had Martinis and wondered around the amazing main room (the rest are all private parts!). Troy had a gamble and after being a substantial amount down, came back with avenge nice and won $150 up! Feeling pretty happy with himself he continued to celebrate back in nice while I had a lovely sleep.
