Captains log 07/06/13. Well well well, the first all nighter took place. After a dangerously big night out we had to be up and ready to go at 645. 0 hours sleep, a quick breakfast and on to nice. Lucky for us the other 15 people that came out were also feeling like death. On the 8 hour bus trip, I tried to sleep but just couldn't get comfortable, Bella like always, blacked out instantly. Today was mainly a travel day. From Paris we visited a beautiful little town about an hour out, which was home to the royal hunting palace. A very impressive building with statues of hounds, stage and gods of hunt thought the garden. From there it was about a 5hr drive to the burgundy wine region where we spent the night in an old chateau. We had a lovely dinner, wine and an early night, ready for the drive to Barcelona at 745 tomorrow morning!

Captains log 3/6/13. Free day in lovely Paris! We woke up around 8 and went down for French hotel breakfast. It was ok, ham cheese is a different breakfast item but were told that's a staple here. We all got on the coach and went into the city. First stop the arc de triumph , the giant arch Napoleon built to celebrate his victory at Waterloo. Starting our 33 day contiki tour! Little excited, little nervous, we wake up early at 5am, to be packed and ready in the lobby by 630am. Naturally buses are delayed, and theres so much messing around, that we stand around before heading off closer to 8am. Settling ourself down in the mural meddle territory of the coach, we chat to some of the people around us, all lovely thus far!
