Ok we are on a boat waiting in the queue for lunch on the crystal blue waters of the blue lagoon which is between the island of comino and Gozo. We've already had a snorkel through the fishies and after we eat we have another hour out here. The weather is about 28 degrees - just enough for swimming as the water is pretty warm here. We leave Malta tomorrow morning destined for Istanbul - it's been a lovely little holiday in our holiday. I'd definitely come back.

Today our guides and chauffeur were Doris and Manuel (not from Faulty Towers). We visited some of Malta's prehistoric sites - they had mini elephants here once! Then we saw a beach with sand - probably almost as rare as the extinct dwarf elephant! It was a lovely beach but we didn't swim, tomorrow we will swim as we are headed to the blue lagoon for a dip!

Another beautiful day in Malta traveling around in the beep beep Barina with Miriam and Iro. Today we went into the capital Valetta in the morning before stopping at the Mosta Dome. This morning we went to the amazing crystal clear waters of the blue grotto. The water is beautiful shades of blue and green and it's just real noice and definitely recommended. In the afternoon we went for a swim and then dropped into an old people's home to see my great uncle and aunt. The visited Australia 29 years ago when I was about 2. Another sunny day in Malta. Last night we went to Paceville, mostly because Miriam insisted as we are young people. It's a cross between CQ and King Street in Melbourne. You know you are there because there are young ladies in impossible heels and tiny clothes with thumping music. There is also a few relaxed sit down pubs etc too. We ducked into a jazz bar for a quiet drink and wandered back! Today we had a lazy day, swimming and a massage plus a nap. A good day...
