Up early and onto a bus for a day trip to Galway and the Cliffs of Moher. The Irish countryside definitely holds up to stereotypes - it's very green and there are a lot of sheep and cows. The cliffs are very sheer and the ocean crashes into the base of them and you could watch all day if it weren't so windy that you felt you would blow away! Another freezing day here in Dublin - looked ok, bit of sun and Irish Mist but an arctic breeze blowing through. In the morning Matt had an old fashioned hot towel shave at modern day pricing... Not a bad day by Dublin standards... Grey clouds as we wandered to the Guinness storehouse to follow the history of Guinness and enjoy a pint at the top of the brewhouse. Au revoir to the blue skies of Paris and hello to the grey, clouded skies of Dublin! We've been here for a couple of hours and already I'd like to shove a flute up a leprechaun's bum.
